Marilyn Vaughn and Steve Sivitz started their combined canine
activities in California in 1995 with their first Briard, Mon Jovis
Light My Fire (Hogan), HT, HSs, CGC. From there the kennel
expanded to include 2 more males:
In 1997 Mon Jovis Naughty But Nice was chosen the Best Puppy in Sweepstakes and Winners Bitch at the Briard Club
of America’s National Specialty Show.
After significant success with her Briards, in 1999 Marilyn
Vaughn decided to expand her dog activities and chose the
Havanese. She and her partner Mary Lopez, Amor Havanese,
purchased Los Companero’s V Havaluv. Marilyn was
attracted to the breed because of it’s unique combination of a
very outgoing disposition, high level of intelligence and flashy
appearance. Marilyn is an American Kennel Club award
winning breeder based in Southern California.
